As I leaned in close to my three year old daughter, I said, "I can hear your heartbeat."

"What's it saying?" she asked.

"Steroids?" exclaims a hulking looking figure, who also happens to be covered in molten lava. "I'm not on steroids. I'm just a mutant."

You Can Write

Silly Daddy, you can write - webcomic by Chiappetta
I said to my friend while holding a near complete manuscript up to him, "I'm putting the finishing touches on my novel!"

"What is that?" asked my friend.

"It's my full-length science fiction novel," I replied with pride.

"You can write?" asks the friend, with great surprise.

This webcomic is true in the sense that I am near finished with the final draft of the science fiction novel. Whether or not the final product will be ready by the end of this year--that I am unsure of.

If you are guessing that the sci-fi novel took longer than this webcomic to create, move to the head of the space academy.

Wisecracker

Silly Daddy - Wisecracker - webcomic by Chiappetta
"I think he's drawing you on his Pocket PC," said a friend of mine to his wife while having dessert at Baker's Square with my wife and I.

His wife replied, "Oh great. It will probably crack his little computer screen."

She is a born wisecracker.

The man clarifies, "I was actually talking about my moves."
