Silly Daddy on Women Working from Home

This comic is from my funny yet education book, "The Back Pain Avenger," out now as an eBook about disability issues.

It is quite remarkable how the business community is embracing work from home models more and more. Times sure have changed in this area, as exemplified in the following conversation.

Two women were riding the bus in the middle of the day. The young woman said, "My boss is letting me work from home this afternoon because I have a disability. They call it, 'reasonable accommodation.'"

At this, the much older woman replied, "I worked from home all my life without a disability. 'Housewife' was the term we used."

Good Clean Romance for Silly Daddy

"I swam today," was my greeting after coming home to my wife from a downtown athletic club.

My wife replied, "Yes, you smell like the pool. I don't mind it. You smell clean and disinfected.

This comic is part of my book, "The Back Pain Avenger," which is out now and is the story of how I went from a life of chronic back pain to a life free from back pain.

Silly Daddy - Invited to Do a Reading at the Library

Announcing good news and waving books in the air, Silly Daddy declares to his daughter, "I've been invited to do a reading at the library!"

His daughter replies, "Big deal. Everyone reads at the library."

Not only is this family comic literally amusing, but it is also leads in to a literary announcement; I did a 10 minute reading at the Italian Cultural Center in Stone Park, IL on Friday May 6th, 2011. The reading was in English, and you don't have to be Italian to get in, however, waving your hands around and talking in broken English might help.

There was wine and cheese, and copies of Silly Daddy and Star Chosen available too!

After receiving some low cost coloring books as a gift, my daughter said, "Thanks for the Princess Coloring Books. But I've never heard of any of those princesses.

My wife aptly replied, "That's because they're Dollar Store princesses!"
