Silly Daddy Downsizing to the Family Fort

Silly Daddy Downsizing to the Family Fort - webcomic by Joe Chiappetta

We often like to get back to nature and fort building in our family times.

While all five of us were travelling through the woods, I said to my youngest daughter, "Soon, you'll be too big for me to carry you." As we approached a crude yet lovable little hut made out of sticks, I added, "Your brother and I built a fort in the forest. We're downsizing."

My youngest daughter yelled out in objection, "We can't downsize! I'm still getting growing."

The Uncomfortable Lightness of Being Silly Daddy - webcomic by Joe Chiappetta
After a big holiday dinner, my daughter came over to me kicking back on the living room floor and sat on my lower leg. This prompted me to exclaim, "It hurts when you sit on my leg. This is so uncomfortable."

Surprised, my daughter replied, "Not to me."

"I just love coming to the city!" thought my wife as our family walked through downtown Chicago's Millennium Park.

Meanwhile I declared, "Hold hands, everyone! We're in the wild now."

Wow! My Wife Has Short Hair

Wow! My Wife Has Short Hair - Silly Daddy webcomic by Chiappetta
"I've had short hair for months, so why do you still draw me with long hair in your comics?" asked my wife while styling her haircut.

"I knew there was something different about you," I replied.

Just for the record, this comic is a joke. The real answer is... I have no idea.
