In the cold Chicago winter, I built a massive snow fort with my kids. Later I worried that the walls would cave in and smother my youngest one to death.

It never ends. The other day she was running full speed down a ramp when she fell and skinned both knees. Poor kid. She cried for 30 minutes. Then the next day, when the band-aid was taken off, she cried again. Oh, to be four again.
