This green scene, torn right out of the wild, is a comic based on an actual sibling conversation that my wife, Denise Chiappetta, texted to me.
Seeing my daughter about to pick a leaf off of a young tree, my son said to his little sister, "Don't pull that leaf! You'll hurt the plant!"
My daughter scoffed as she replied, "Silly... how can you hurt the plant? It doesn't have face."
Webcomic drawn by Joe Chiappetta 2009 on HP iPAQ Pocket PC running Windows Mobile, in Conduits Pocket Artist program.
I love the way my toddler daughter can take a completely unexpected view of something, yet it still be full of eye-opening truth. Hopefully, you will feel the same way about my latest sermon, "Transformers 2: The Revenge of God." Click the sermon title to listen to that lesson.
